While recent weeks have seen the start to a very competitive local Club Hurling Championship at Intermediate & Senior Level, which can only be of major benefit to the performance of our county players when they enter battle in Leinster Senior Hurling Championship on the 3rd of June against Antrim or Westmeath.

An Open evening for all Galway supporters will be held in Pearse Stadium on Friday next, 11th May starting at 7.00pm to mark the start of the All-Ireland Inter-County Football and Hurling Championships.

This will be an exciting evening for all Galway GAA Supporters where you can meet all our players as well participate in other exciting activities.

On Friday the 11th of May the only place to be if your a GAA fan will be Pearse Stadium between 8-9pm. Members of both Galway Senior football and Galway Senior hurling teams will be present along with their respective management teams to meet and greet with supporters.
