Intermediates suffer defeat

Galway Intermediates suffered a heavy defeat this evening in Cusack Park as the locals took revenge for last weekends minor defeat to win 2-18 to 2-9.

Galway led 2-7 to 1-7 at half time and early in the second half held a 2-9 to 1-9 lead. However from then on it was all Clare and they scored a tally of 1-9 without reply.

Disappointing for the Tribesmen as they take an exit for the championship.
